I am enjoying your photos so much! Did you ask to take pictures, or just take the shots? You've got some nice ones of people, and I'm just wondering what they thought. I love the "feel" of the photos.
I didn't ask, but I tried not to be too obvious or intrusive. I feel like I oculd have gotten better pictures had I been a bit more aggressive, but it wasn't worth it to me. Thank you.
Yummers! Nothing like a fresh, outdoor meat market to turn you into a vegetarian. Love these photos, though, Paula. It's great to get a look at everyday life over there.
I"m wondering why you didn't go for more close ups? You seemed to keep your distance in these shots. Was there some kind of invisible barrier, culturally I mean, that made you hesitate?
I think I'd go the vegetarian route, too! I love your photos. Your indoor conditions were stark and mostly colorless, but outside it's bright & colorful.

I'm with you. I don't think I'd eat meat.
