I thought of you today, as I was driving back from Killeen. There was a very long stretch of bluebonnets, thick and blue. People were taking pictures of their young children sitting in the middle of them. I'm sorry you didn't get to see more flowers an sorry I missed you! I didn't end up coming into Salado because of the bad weather but it amazes me that we were only 15-20 minutes apart.
If we have bluebonnets around here, I've not seen them. These are gorgeous (my kids would say "a bloom where you're planted shot!" because I'm known for taking pictures of flowers growing from brick steps, curbsides, and other unlikely places)

Pretty! I don't think I've seen a bluebonnet before. Love how its growing out of the rock.

I have a few of those wild in my yard. They are really pretty. This one is especially pretty growing alone and on top of a rock!
Great close-up.
This is so pretty. I like both the bluebonnet pictures against your blue background!
I love this. I guess it doesn't take much good soil for some seeds to take root and bloom. There's got to be a lesson in that somewhere.
Just gorgeous.
I really like this one. Great composition!
